Check the version
This guide is for Odoo 18. Use the matching Git branch Razyyn-AI-Odoo-v18; installing a branch for another major version can fail during migration or view loading.
Get the required access
- Terminal or SSH access to the Odoo server and its configuration file.
- The database name and a custom addons directory in addons_path.
- An Odoo administrator with the Razyyn AI Manager group after installation.
- Outbound HTTPS access to the Razyyn platform, and an externally reachable ERP URL for connection verification.
Protect the existing system
Take a current database backup and follow your normal change window. If a hosting provider controls custom apps or server restarts, ask them to run the installation commands in the next chapter.
Understand the starting permissions
The module depends on Odoo's base, mail, web and account apps. It creates a dedicated agent user during connection and assigns the Razyyn groups and, when available, Odoo's Accountant group. Review that user's effective access for your companies. Connecting can enable the Write Policy, but recording stays off.
