Open Agent Settings and enter Custom Instructions. Include your reporting currency, company and cost-center defaults, tax jurisdiction, approval thresholds and any accounting policy Razyyn should apply. Save the form.
Example: Use the Main cost center unless a document specifies another. Explain tax assumptions. Ask for approval before recording any entry.Grant ERP access deliberately
Open the dedicated [email protected] User. Its agent role has no business DocType permissions by default. Give it only the additional roles and company access needed for the questions and actions your team will use. Do not make it a System Manager.
Review the Write Policy
Open Agent Write Policy. Its Enable Agent Writes switch may have been turned on by Connect. Recording Enabled in Agent Settings is still off. Review Require Human Approval, Dry Run Only, document-type restrictions, allowed companies, blocked accounts, per-run amount and count limits, and posting-date limits before changing the recording switch.
Set the policy fields
- Keep Require Human Approval on. It defaults to on and asks a person to approve a proposed write.
- Use Dry Run Only to validate without saving while you check the proposed records. It defaults to off.
- Turn on Restrict To Listed Document Types when you want a strict allowlist. Add each DocType and allowed actions in Allowed Document Types; the restriction defaults to off.
- Use Allowed Companies and Blocked Accounts to limit where entries may go. An empty allowed-company list does not add a company restriction beyond the user's normal permissions.
- Set Max Documents Per Run and Max Total Amount Per Run for batch limits. Zero means no additional cap, so choose deliberate values before enabling recording.
- Set Posting Date - Max Days Back and Posting Date - Max Days Forward. Forward = 0 forbids future dates; Back = 0 adds no lookback limit.
Keep the first test read-only
Leave Recording Enabled / Allow Agent Recording off while testing chat. When you later need entries, enable the recording switch only after checking the policy and ERP user permissions. The ERP user, policy and recording switch all affect whether a write can complete.
Optional messaging
For email, Telegram or Slack, open Agent Messaging Settings. Configure each channel's credentials and permitted destinations before enabling it. Review Agent Message Log after a test delivery.
